  1. The heart is so pretty! Thanks for marking the pattern "begin here", us newbies get a little confused sometimes.LOL I am sure it will be a long time before I attempt making it though. I neeed more practice, practice, practice.

  4. Kathy, I always try to make my patterns as easy to follow as possible, but sometimes I still forget to put it in until someone pointed it out to me, :-}

    Thank you Christine, Heather and Valerie. Looking forward to see you variations of this.

  9. Dear Jon
    I loved your site! I´m trying to return to tatting, I learned many years ago and not so much.
    I would like to start form ABC what do you suggest? Maybe there is a easy pattern well explained to follow, and a second one to go on...thank you very much...Silvia From Rio Gallegos, Patagonia, Argentina

  10. BTW there is an error in the written directions for Clover 4, I think the middle R in the clover should be R(3+2-2-2-2-3) as that matches up with both Clover 1 and the diagram. Great pattern - thanks!

  11. Your Entwined-Crowning Hearts is such a beautiful pattern. Jon, for many years, I've sought a tatting pattern to use instead of a quilted 'Wedding Ring' pattern. When quilting a large coverlet group-gift, the final assembly can be daunting for time and labor. But whether individually gifted, or as a group-gift to the happy couple, this pattern serves well as a one-person gift edged wedding hanky for instance, or as a group-gift of many tatted accessories all having this same pattern. For couples remarrying or older newlyweds with substantial belongings, it is especially nice as a space-saver with full memento value. It is a lovely pattern. Thank you for presenting it.

  12. Sooo lovely. My daughter has always wanted one of those necklaces made of two hearts that join together like a puzzle- one for you, and one for your friend. But she wanted it for herself and her old mom! I think I'll make this for her! :)
