Hi Jon! I am a brand new tatter. I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to work on this blog. Time and time again I have found myself here looking for patterns and tutorials. Not to mention, I'm so inspired by your work! Hopefully I will get good at this soon. You are an inspiration! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for being willing to share your knowledge and patterns!
I don't know if this is still an active site but am hoping it is. First, I agree, beautiful piece! I am new to tatting and self learning. I understand written instructions better than diagrams. I was wondering whether you might have written instructions for this piece? I get confused with when to RW or switch shuttle. Do the different colors in the diagram mean that the tatter should cut and tie at the end of each color round? Thanks so much!
Very beautiful star!
