How do you keep your memories & a Giveaway
Have you ever thought about what to do with all the photos and snapshots that you have taken. I don't know about you but my old photos are all over the place, in plastic pockets and albums from when the cameras were using film rolls. And now they are in flash drives and hard disks since the cameras have gone digital
I have always thought about getting them properly organised. And, by chance I was introduced to a software for digital scrap booking from mymemories.com. I was offered to try out the software for a couple of weeks and write a review of it. First and foremost, I have to say that I have never done any scrap booking before, either the paper version or the digital version, but I have admired people who can do it. So, rather than having to purchase the proper kits such as papers, and ribbons and braid, etc. it would not cost me much to try this digital scrap booking software.
I repeat, I have never done scrap booking before, but I find this software very easy to use. Everything from page layout, background paper, embellishments and editing features are available, making it so easy to be creative. My problem was not so much with how to use the software but what photos to pick for my first attempt. And here it is,
And one of you, my readers will get a chance to win this software. Thanks to the people responsible for this application, one copy of the My Memories Suite will be given free to a lucky winner in this giveaway. It looks very nice and easy. I liked My Word Art by Jennifer.
ReplyDeleteI love the Christmas memories layout!!
ReplyDeleteYour scrapbook page is great -- and such cute little models! I took a look, I think my favorite on the website was the Travel Theme. Some of the paper sets were so pretty! I used to make scrapbook pages on the computer for my nieces, but they certainly aren't anything quite so polished looking. I'd love to win that software.
ReplyDeletewow! sign me up please, I love the idea of computer scrap booking. I like the fall splendor package. I have tried a couple times to scrapbook with paper and photos, not online, and I didn't do so well, Think I made it more complicated than it needed to be, alas, I have a boring photo album (about 20) scanning into the computer and just have on discs... we have a few generations of images all on computer, black and whites, old images from the early 1900's to current will be taken when my second grand child will be born in may, lol, how incredible for you to share such a neat gift :)
ReplyDeleteBri.
As I have a lot of grand children and greatgrand children I choose LITTLE CHILDREN. This looks like a lot of fun. The children are scattered all over the country and it will be fun to do the pictures thier mothers send to me.. thank you

I must be getting in the Christmas spirit... my favorite is All I Want for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI've never done any scrapbooking either. Maybe this would get me started!
Thanks for the opportunity, Jon!
Now this something I could use. I must have 30 boxs of pictures not counting the ones I have on two computers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway please include me.
oooh, I love Bohemian Blessings paper pack by Mandy king! the colours are amazing, and who doesn't love buttons? i think I may have to look at buying this software (if I don't win it) as I'm completely burried in photos with no real home.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an easy to use program - and it would take up room around the house! I've got Christmas on the mind, too - I like the Christmas Traditions.
ReplyDeleteThanks for chance to win this, Jon.
I really like two of the packs....the Victorian Christmas pack and the Christmas flourishes.....I have tried digital scrape booking (but it was about two years ago) and I liked it as opposed to regular scrape booking which I find tedious.
ReplyDeleteJon,
ReplyDeleteLike you, I have many photos all over the place! I would like to make something lovely and memorable especially on my daughter's graduation, thus I would pick the 'It happened this year' pack by Connie Prince to preserve those special moments.
I love Lindsay Jane's Another Day In Paradise. .. Have never tried digital scrap booking..This looks fun and doable for a scrap book challenged person like me.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jon for this giveaway.
Great idea, I liked the Green Noel pack.
